Over at The Herd Annex, the house is built in an open floor plan. That makes the perfect circle for Tartok and Ruby to patrol the kitchen, dining room and den.
Tartok has the counter clockwise path going.
Ruby has the clockwise circle (notice Tartok's tail disappearing in the background).
Tartok and Ruby here. Just wanted you to know that we, The Herd Annex, would join The Herd every morning at the beach.
And we loved our morning (and evening) walks on the beach.
And we waited patiently for our human.
Mostly, we enjoyed hanging out in our next door campsite and watching the rest of the campground.
Tartok, why would humans go downstairs when the kitchen is up here?
Ruby, somethings a big brother just can not explain.
Let's just say humans can be weird sometimes.
For newer readers, The Herd Annex is the hu-grandmom’s house on the other side of the valley. Let’s check in on some of their favorite activities.

Tartok combines two great activities - napping beside the dinner table.
Did you think we were going to list counter surfing? Would this innocent face ever be involved in something like that?
Hey, I was napping here. Isn't this RUBY Tuesday, not TARTOK Tuesday?
Like I am supposed to do all of the work here.
Sometimes, you need to strategically place yourself.
Some of us just will the food to fall to the floor.
And when nothing falls during dinner, you have to watch the clean-up operation closely.
Or just work on your best pathetic look routine.
Wow, Tartok is good. I had better practice.
P.S. – Yes, yes, yes – We will have more pictures of newbie Frankie tomorrow. We had to celebrate Ruby Tuesday first, right?
Nothing like tempting a bread thief, huh?
But this closely supervised, what could possibly go wrong?

It is the ever stylish reverse poodle look.
No worries - just a little dental cleaning for both of us, but not sure why we had opposite legs done.
