We have not had much snow yet this year, and what little we have had has melted in most places.

But there are some north facing areas that retain the snow throughout winter.

Rusty sure is smiling to have some chilly paws.

Hey, we are having to make do this winter.

  1. Rusty, I am smiling right along with you! I have not had snow yet, but I know exactly how sweet your paws are feeling under that wonderful fluffy white stuff!

Hopefully you will receive a huge snowfall soon. Enjoy!

  2. I think it’s considered some sort of abuse not to have the right amount of snow.

  3. It’s funny how they all pick what they want to walk on.

  4. Hope you get lots more snow to chill your paws in!

  5. Don’t feel too bad, “Herd”. Me ‘n Ice are kinda short on snow so far this year, too. We had about 6 inches of it, but then we had a Chinook, and we’re back to walking on bare brown grass, and slick icy roads. However, our hu-Mom says it won’t be long, and we’ll be sorry when we get what we wish for!

  6. We’re so happy you guys got snow! We were supposed to get blasted yesterday, but all we got was rain, rain, and more rain! The snow was an hour away! So close, yet so soggy!

  7. Nice pics! Chilly paws are greatly missed over here by four of Huskies! (Chloe prefers the warmer climate. I think she did not get the memo that she is a Siberian Husky.)

  8. I think the herd needs its own snow maker.

  9. We are still waiting for our first flake – seems like it is going to be another of those years for us, always on the wrong side of the rain/snow line.

Hope you all get some more soon too.

  10. For some reason, I have the feeling that you’ll get more snow soon! We can’t miss the Cheoah slide this year!

  11. Oh the snow will come, im sure

Stop on by for a visit
