Ruby here. I need to defend my reputation.
For some reason, all of you have this impression that I spend all of my time hanging out in the kitchen trying to snarf human food.
As these pictures prove, when the humans are downstairs, I can hang out with them.
And when the humans move to come up the steps, I race to the top.
Uh, yes, that is the kitchen at the top of the steps. What is your point?

Your expression in that second picture is absolutely priceless, Ruby! I am sure that you run to the top of the steps only to make sure that it’s safe and there’s nobody waiting to do harm to your pack up there and NOT because food might appear!
