It is dinner time at The Herd Annex, so are you really surprised that Ruby is supervising in the kitchen? But where is Tartok?
Well, there was this thunder, see, and Tartok went to his man-cave.

That’s great. Now Torrey doesn’t feel so bad being afraid of loud noises.
That’s all right, Tartok, my Dad, Ice, does his “thinking” outside our hu-Mom & Dad’s bedroom door, at the far end of the hallway when we have those “light and sound displays”. As for me, I like to stand out in the middle of the back yard, looking up, to see where it’s coming from.
Oh, THAT be a man-cave? We call it “The Bunker” here at our house coz my sis Sydney goes in there when it thunders, in the exact same pawsition Tartok be in.
I hear the best thinking happens in that room! And look, there’s that comfortable rug in there to lie on whilst you ponder life’s mysteries.

If we could get to that room easily here, Mom thinks Phantom would be in there too. Hey, we love that backdrop – very cool.

That is Quinn’s favorite man cave of the moment. Does make it a bit difficult for the humans to leap over or straddle or manuever around him to use the facilities…because he refuses to yield the throne!

Thanks for your words of comfort. We DO follow Patricia McConnell and think her insights profound as we grow into “Packness.” Her advice has been invaluable so many times. Momma sometimes takes it hard when the “Easy” button doesn’t work or we suffer a setback. We so envy the Herd’s maturity and stability.
Aw, you look so good in your man cave! And you are doing a great job of holding the floor down to make sure it doesnt float up! SEE? You are actually protecting the family!
Clearly Tartok just wants to lay on that nice soft rug instead of a hard floor.
Seems like more and more dogs are fearing storms lately. Have you checked into a Thundervest?
