Good Dentistry

Kiska is showing off her pearly white teeth.

The hu-dad is always monitoring The Herd’s teeth making sure they are clean and maintained.  But The Herd is sending the hu-dad off to his vet this morning to fix a broken molar.  Ouch.  We wonder if he will come back with a little shaved patch on his arm?

Oh, I’m sorry Hu-Dad! That sounds painful and not what I’d want to be doing on a Monday at all, but at least the rest of the week can only improve!

Herd, all I can say is that if he still has those socks, a little shaved patch is the least of your worries!

And we would love to hear a soundtrack of what he sounds like when he comes out of the anesthesia – wonder if he has learned the Siberian Death scream:) Hope this doesn’t mean a root canal too. Paws crossed for a good result from the procedure. And now we think you ought to tell him to stop gnawing on YOUR bones.

I wonder if he bit off more than he could chew? I wonder which costs more, a human tooth or a siberian tooth?

I think not. In honor of good dentistry, Mesa ate an entire tube (tube and all) of beef toothpaste this weekend

The hu-dad probably won’t get a shaved spot, which is wrong, but he might be all wonky and drop food, so be on the lookout.

    Nope.
They don’t do that! Believe me… my mom goes to “see” her Dentist more often than she’d like to…. and never comes with a shaved spot!
    Good luck to Hu-Dad!

    O NOOOOO…….

So sorry to hear of the broken toofy, but chuckling at Mogley’s question above. Maybe the doc can find a spot for the juice line that doesn’t need shaving… just a thought. ;=)

    Feel better soon, Hu-Dad!!!

    With love from the Bleu

We hope the dentist experience was not too awful and that hu-dad is recovering nicely. For pain control dad suggests gargling with scotch!

Our mom had to go today, too. I offered to go with her, hold paws, and play bagpipe music on her iPhone like she did for me at my last dental, but she and Dad didn’t think they’d let me in. Isn’t that crazy?!?
    Luv,
    Dave
PS: I hope things went well for your hu-dad!

Sorry about the tooth! I hope the Herd is cooperative with the tooth brushing. One of our dogs loves it, the other one tolerates it.
