Yes, we do think we have a wonderful life and that is why we want to share a little with our 1000th Post Contest (full details here). As we expected, the competition is heating up. It is indeed a wonderful life. We’re counting our blessings here on the coast – no tornados, no floods, just a lot of rain & a little sunshine now & then. We donated to the Joplin Humane society tonight, so I guess that will be our daily submission.

This group is awesome – in 2 years they’ve saved 250 huskies, far surpassing their original goal. And many of their dogs were sick or terminal, or had such severe behavioral problems that even the so-called “no kill” shelters didn’t know what to do with them. Love this group!!! And since they operate on a shoestring budget, every little cent counts!
We are grateful for the human and dog friends we have made because of Tails of the Tundra Siberian Husky Rescue.
