Same Bear Time, Same Bear Trail, Same . . .

Saturday was beautiful, so we decided to take the exact same trail that we were taking last Saturday.  Do you remember what happened?  Let us remind you . . .

Black Bear was walking the same trail that we were walking.

So if we walk the exact same trail at the exact same time, will we get the exact same result?

Nope. Trail is all clear. At least as far as we could see.

That bear must have found a good pot of honey somewhere.

What a beautiful day you had for that hike.

    Easter Blessings to all.

Yikes a bear. I have no idea how my hounds would do if they encountered a black bear. How do your dogs react to this type of critter? My hounds would go bolistic. Sniffs, The HoundDogs

You said last week that the cance of seeing a bear is pretty slim; you know they are there, they just aren’t seen, frequently. I’m betting the slim chance became reality and you ran inot the bear again.

Great photo of the bear! I can just hear the soundtrack, “dom-dee-dum, dee dom-dee-dum”, as he goes lumbering along nonchalantly. Since animals kind of tell time with the sun which changes week to week, maybe he was there 5 minutes before you got there?!

    Too bad… no bear there!

I know from my wildlife cams that bears tend to go to the same places time and time again… but they don’t have watches (or cell phones, for that matter) so the times are different!

Lucky you – it looks like beautiful weather. We had more snow last night, and it’s in the forecast for every day this week.

You really took that photo? OMG…I would have had a heart attack. I am SO afraid of bears, I don’t even like to go near them at the zoo. LOL

Was that the Mama Bear or the Papa Bear? Sure is beautiful, and I bet it was pawsome to be so up-close and personal to such a magnificent creature! I think I would have been a bit nervous, unless it was a relative of Pooh Bear. :->

Happy Easter! Hope you run into some bunnies next time!

I’m glad your hike was free of Easter bears! Now, if there were some bunnies to chase, we’d enjoy hearing all about the ensuing mayhem. *grin*
