Walking in the Rain

Today is supposed to be very rainy here.

Not that rain slows down our hikes. Do you still walk in the rain?

    Sometimes…but I REALLY love to sit in it…and sponge it up!

    BTW, just think of all the white it would it be if it were kholder ;-(

    Mack and I are city dogs through and through. (Well, really we are suburban dogs…since we live in a suburb of Wash DC) We HATE rain. To do our daily Business when raining, we are forced outside and do “it” very quickly. Mack could hold his forever. Maybe your nice thick Sib fur keeps the cold rain from reaching your skin… Pug and puggle fur is not so thick. Hu-mom laughs when she sees us whince and squish up our eyes when the rain hits.
    Anyway, enjoy your walks!

    Of course we walk in the rain. Life doesn’t stop when the clouds come out.

    On the other hand, in a hard rain, I find most dogs don’t enjoy the walk as much. I suspect the rain washes a lot of the interesting scents away. So light rain is fine. But on heavy rain days, we keep the walk short and play different games in side.

    Oh what BEAUTIFUL Babies you have! Absolutely gorgeous! We are visiting from the blog hop. I love your pics and adventures :) Your blog title caught my eye b/c I sometimes call my 2 “The Thundering Herd.” They always come barreling through the house making so much noise… I can’t imagine what 6 must sound like!! haha Happy Blogging!

    We have often walked in the rain, and TD and Ciara just love to soak it up. We have a few good days of sunshine coming our way so hopefully there will be some walks too.

    Do you sing in the rain too?

    It depends. If it’s driving rain, or really cold, then no. If it’s just gentle Spring rain, then no problem! That’s what raincoats and Wellies are for! :)

    Rain is our favorite walking weather. The rainy season here is so short that we want to enjoy it.

    We have so much rain that it can’t be helped. But our indoor dog park solved a lot of that!

    I can get Bella out in a very light rain without a problem. If it starts pouring while we’re out, she’ll pick up the pace and jog with me back to our place.

    But when it’s torrential and she needs to go potty, she will not venture far from coverage!

    They sure do look happy to be walking in the rain! Our Sibes try to get out of it pretty quick as they don’t really like it falling on them – although Gibson does like to lay outside under the porch roof with his belly side up to feel the mist on his tummy!

    I do not like to get my furs wet, unless I choose to get in the shower myself. I won’t go out in the rain.

    Nope, I think we might melt if it rains or at least that is what my sister Starr tells me. She will not even go out to pee.

    We don’t walk in the rain. It’s out the door for some quick business and right back in. Those dumb sheppies we have would probably walk in the rain but us boxers are too smart for that!
