Dawn in the mountains. The distant mountain peaks rise above the valley fog below. Sunday appears to be as blue and clear as Saturday was.
But as we walked through our field past our favorite tree, something looked different.
Remember that Cataloochee Ski was busy making snow Saturday morning?
The skiers and snowboarders were enjoying all of that snow.
Unfortunately, our field was snowless. Sorry, Cheoah, but the Cheoah Snow Slide seems to be missing something important.

Glad to hear I’m not the only one wishing for snow. We have yet to have any of real substance and for some reason I am disappointed.

I just love it when the fog fills the valleys. Seems as if you are looking at huge lakes. Great photographs.

Am I the only one who feels like it’s only been 3 months since we saw it melt off?
Cheoah, is that part of the snow calling ritual? We have been chanting in your direction, “Let it snow! Let it snow!”
