That would give everyone good excercise in a rousing game of fetch. It is plain to see that you are getting ready for winter, helping them lay in firewood for the cold days ahead.
We had a dog who used a wheelchair for the last year or so of her life, and she used to carry a piece of firewood to the house at the end of every walk (while in a wheelchair). She was simply amazing.
I would have broken that log up into a bazillion shavings and traded each piece for a treat! I do that will big sticks from the yard and keep a convenient stash of twigs next to the dog door for when I want a little trade treat.
Big results require big ambitions
Happy world animal day to the herd!
