First up, we received some great news from our friends at the Dream Valley Ranch last night about our friend KB, who we told you yesterday was undergoing surgery to fuse vertebrae in her neck, and her dog, K, who had recently undergone emergency surgery. We will let the comment they posted last night tell the whole story:
Dear Qannik,
The local coyotes got word to my little sister, Jessica Eleanor Guppie Jr. Jr., that our Auntie KB is doing great post-surgery…apparently it was a text-book surgery (can coyotes read text books?).
The wild pups also shared that K & R are with their papa camping out near the hospital and they are all doing very well.
Please share the news with Auntie KB’s many virtual friends via the howliphone.
By the way, I wonder if you like carrots? We sure do. If you were here I would share my carrot with you.

What excellent, excellent news. KB, we continue to think of you and your family (husband and canines K and R) and best wishes for the speediest and most complete recovery.
In other news – and with apologies to “the_Dogfather” in the blogosphere – we have to share our hu-dad’s Christmas present from his sister. He wore it this weekend while escorting us around town and got quite a few smiles. Hope you like it -
