My Mom had a little pup that got tutored and was wearing a plastic collar. He hated it, and he was laying nicely under a table while Mom was writing letters, so she removed it. After a while, Mom looked and there was red liquid on the floor, yellow bits, and she said no! this dog opened himself up! But what happened was he found a ripe tomato that fell to the floor and ate what he liked and left the rest, nearly causing my mother to have a fit!

Good thing it was a stuffie skunk, otherwise the tomato would have been employed for duties other than sandwich embellishment!

I’m fortunate that my Marge is not as smart as a Sibe. She doesn’t seem to understand that fruits like apples and pears are, indeed food, when they are whole. Only when they’re cut up do they look edible. Way to go, Ruby!
