What was Cheoah Looking At?

Many of you wanted to know what Cheoah was looking at in yesterday’s pictures.  We don’t really know, but this is what the humans were looking at (You can click on any of the pictures to enlarge):

Not shabby, huh?

P.S. – PUPDATE – Er, we appreciate all of the comments, but this is NOT our deck and NOT our view from our house.  We have a great view, but not this good.  This is the view from the observation deck at Mt Pisgah.

Wow, you guys have an amazing view!…Im sure it can become pretty scary during fire season too! But you are ‘snowing’ now, so no worries. Thanks for informing us…wonderful! Are you still ‘stranded’ with that rock fall?

Not shabby at all – gorgeous vista you have from your deck. And the tail shot just tops it all off.

Not too shabby at all! Those are some lucky dogs (and humans), having views and smells like that from their deck! I think that our deck is out of commission for 6 months so seeing dry deck photos made me a tiny bit wistful :)

Oh I miss those views! Although when we lived in Waynesville our townhouse was down a little hollow so we didn’t have that kind of view from the house. But I drove to Asheville to work every day & it was always so gorgeous. I didn’t appreciate it then like I should have.

My husband & I honeymooned in Maggie Valley in a not very cold December 19 years ago. We had no idea then that we’d live nearby (we were living near Raleigh at the time). We definitely look fondly back on that time – my husband getting his Masters at Western Carolina & me working in Asheville…

PS: Our grandma made it back to VA. Mom asked her if she saw a green Jeep with 6 Sibes in it and she said “no” so the scenery couldn’t have been THAT great. Ha roo roo roo!
