Tartok's Bed Time

The humans often go to our hu-grandparents (our cousins Tartok and Ruby) on Saturday nights for dinner.  But, apparently, they stay there past Tartok’s bedtime.  At about 8 pm, Tartok disappears and he can always be found in his bed.

We had a dog who had a very set bedtime, and he’d just march into the bedroom and go to sleep at that time, no matter what. So, I grinned at Tartok’s habit!

    Way to go Tartok!

I usually tolerate my mom’s up late nights BUT I have been known to go start without her!

I do hope he did get a tummy rub fur his photoshoot!

Mom is laughing here because that is so typical of Phantom. He is a 9:00 to bed boy and nothing should interfere with that. And he does the same rollover for a tummy scritchie too.

    Tartok!

You look so cozy! I think early nights are the best. That way we’re not so tired in the morning. It’s fun to drag the humans out of bed in morning so we can take them for walks, hehe.

    I hope you slept well!

Reminds me of my Dad, who on a week night, would go to bed at 10 pm, no matter who was still visiting!

These guys just have an internal clock that tells them when its time, I guess.

    Cheers,

    Jo, Stella’s Mom

Yup, I like my bedtime too! Always go before the not-so-little man’s mom – she’s a real night owl!

My mum says my great sister Maxine used to take herself to bed when she was tired. But she had her own Queen sized bed in her own bedroom. Tartok needs to work on that.

I hope he got lots of belly rubs and scratches. Your Mommy and Daddy didn’t take the Herd to see your Grandma and Grandpa?

Woodrow does this – around 9pm he will go to bed – if the bedroom door is closed he will bark and then come get me and run back to the door for me to open it

I always know when it’s bedtime too, but I don’t go to bed alone. I just pace around until my humans get the hint.
