The power of the sport setting on the camera – the rapid pictures that tell a story. My goal here was to get a picture of Ruby’s unique sitting style, but coupled with a wood floor, we captured a “slippery” moment.

Wooos! Poor Ruby! Are they making fun of your sit? I like to sit like that too, so it is ok with me, just start learning some evil expressions from Queen Natasha and they won’t make fun of you anymore!

I sit on my hip like that, but I don’t slide. Steve is the slider in our family. I am the roll-over-and-show-my-tummy girl though. It looks like Ruby has it all in one cute, furry package!

I do that too! Eva doesn’t because she refuses to sit on the wood floors. She even scurries from rug island to rug island.

The slide and roll though, I don’t do that.

Juno has a similar style. We call it the “low cal platz.” (Platz is german for “down”) Juno’s very good at conserving calories so she won’t spend them actually working to go to a platz. instead, she lets gravity do the job thereby expending as few calories as possible! Way to go Ruby!
